Iran movie ‘Helmsman’ to shine in German film festival

Iranian movie ‘Helmsman’ (Shipman) directed by Majid Esmaeili-Parsa has been scheduled to go on the silver screen at the 40th edition of LUCAS Film Festival in Germany.

The movie is taking part at the competition section of the event.

The 85-minute movie is about Hassan, a boy who is trying to revive his father’s ship as a present for the man’s birthday.

Mehdi Mohajeri, Majid Deris, Yousef Khodaparast, Yousef Bakhtiari and Hamideh Moqaddaszadeh have starred in the movie.

So far, the movie has attended more than 20 domestic and international film festivals.
